Seeing the world thru blue glasses
I’ve just start to play some more with bluetooth lately and it’s simplicity is very charming. I’ve got 3 products so far that support Bluetooth.
A wireless mouse & keyboard set (Logitech Cordless Desktop MX) and today my Belkin bluetooth headset came in.
The fact that devices can easily be paired (connected) for use with the touch of one or two buttons (and typing a pincode where needed) is absolutely perfect.
While i made a quick call using my headset while it was in the charger, i’ll cover some more things i discover on my road to bluetooth heaven, it worked well.
I had a chat with a friend (and business partner) the other day about the fact that (if Bluetooth was fast enough) it would be perfect for household applications too. No more wires to the speakers, and what about all those scart cables from dvd, video and TV connections.
All though speed is less then WiFi it’s battery life is much longer!!
